When i tried to open SE09 or SE10 , its taking for ever to open these transactions. I have to use Ctrl+Alt+del to end sessions.
what could be the problem here?

Is it only with SE09/SE10 or all transactions. please check if the space /oracle/SID/oraarch is filled up. if so run brarchive.

Shutting down the system and restarting did solve the problem. thank you.
