ERROR => overflow of internal job queue [rspowunx.c 852]

Hello all,

I'm getting the following issue in sm21

"Internal Job Queue Full for Synchronous Processing of Print Requests"

When I checked the spool trace file, I found the following Error message

     too many synchronous jobs for one printer

     or processing of jobs too slow on this hardware

     -> more jobs will be processed asynchronously

     pages (List) printed in 0 seconds, avg. 0.0 pages per sec

     meinfo 18273/1 (DUMM): 0 1 List ( 0 0 0 0 0 0 )

     * ERROR => overflow of internal job queue [rspowunx.c   852]

Please give me some solutions to fix the above issue

The standard cleanup job for spools might have the old variant / might not be working.

Thank you for your response Shivangini.

I'm getting the system log

"Internal Job Queue Full for Synchronous Processing of Print Requests" only in the time gap between 05.05 and 05:15.

The Cleanup jobs are running fine.Give me more tips to fix this issue.

Hello Sandeep,

Please Check below parameter in your system .

rspo/global_shm/job_list (Number of entries in spool system's request queue)

Please increase value of this parameter as per sap note: Note 412065 - Incorrect output sequence of output requests .
