Sales order Item TEXT

Hi All,

User created sales order in VA01 transaction.

User entered the material in sales order, and material sales text copied from material maser record automatically.

Once user saved the sales order and gave print out, material sales text showing some other text in ouptut, as well as it changed in sales order.

This is happened twice in last 6 months. If i try to create new sales order for same material it's working correctly.

What would be the cause for this issue?

As Bhavana suggested "don't rule out human error";

It could very well be that the user had gone in to the sales orders, and changed the text manually; thereafter when taking a print out of the sales order, the changed text populated.

If possible, ask the users who created these orders, did they manually change the text?

If it has happened only twice in six months, then probably you can just let this issue "go" (in other words, don't do anything about it)

We have checked the user already, but user told they didnt change anything.

since no histroy in sales order, we can't conclude this as user did this.

From my client side they like to know the case for this.

Check condition  field that the output program is picking the data from ,, speak to abap , dont rule out human error

You mean if you create order of same material again and take print out then its working fine in next order and print out?

Yes Mozzam its giving right text next time print, only for the particular sales order it's not happening.

After following the same procedure if this is only for this particular case then I don't think so there is some logic or configuration missing. Please ask user to create sale order and do the same steps which they did in that particular order. They might be doing something different and strange. Change history is not maintained for text change
