Hello experts,
I've created the different elements in SLD (product, software component, technical system and business system) and now I want to import the business component in the Repository but my software component doesn't display. As it's a fresh installation, it only displays SAP software components to import.
I see something strange in regards to the SLD. The SLD url opened through SLDCHECK is not the same than the url opened by click "System Landscape Directory" using the page http://server:port/dir/start/index.jsp
I added the SLD elements in the SLD opened through SLDCHECK.
I would really apreciate any suggestion about what can be happening.
Regards,
Unfortunately it didn't seem to work. Any other suggestions please?
How can I be 100% sure it's not connecting to other SLD ?

Hi Gonzalez,
May be they are using central SLD.. check with basis team ..
instead of going with SDLCHECK go with " http://server:port/dir/start/index.jsp" and develop your objects in SLD.

Loordh.
Problem solved.
I edited the parameters com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name and com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name.

Hi,
We usually update the SLD from http://server:port/dir/start/index.jsp and not SLDCHECK. However, I opened our SLD from SLDCHECK and I saw that it basically contains the same information as the SLD opened from http://server:port/dir/start/index.jsp so I think you should be okay in this area. You can check if the entries are the same from your end to eliminate the possibility of updating the wrong SLD.
I would also suggest clearing the SLD cache from ESR. If that doesn't work, try editing the SCV you created in the SLD and save that, clear the SLD data cache again and look for your SCV from the import function again (brutal but it works sometimes).
Lastly, how does the Business System object/s that you created behave? Are you able to assign it to the Integration Directory? If you can, then that means you can somehow see some of the changes you've made to the SLD that you updated.
I hope this helps.

Hi Gonzalez,
Go to Environment->Clear SLD Cache. Next check for your software components. It will be visible now. When ever you did some changes in SLD it's better to do a SLD Cache clear in ESR & ID.
Thanks,
Satish.

Hi,
Try again after clear SLD cache data . ESR-> Environment ->Clear SLD Data Cache. Now , SWCV should be visible in import list.

Hari.

Hi D Gonzalez,
First of all I would try to refresh the SLD cache from ESR. It might be enough to solve your problem.

Greg
