Hi Guys,

Had a query about STOs.

Suppose a STO is raised by Plant A to Plant B.

Is it possible that an email is generated by SAP to the concerned guy in plant B when the STO is raised?

Also, an email be triggered continuously to Plant B until it dispatches all the requested material or in case of part delivery or unavailability, writes a justification which should come to plant A and if satisfactory, Plant A closes the STO.

Please let me know for such a possibility.

Yes ,Once plant A raised the STO to Plant B you can send email to Plant B.For this you need to email output determination configuration.

If you dont receve the material from Plant B then some one in Plant A buyer need to contact Plant B.Always it is not require to send continious email to Plant B until Plant A receive the material.

Thanks Sridhar,

I could get the note 191470 for email 'output determination configuration' which talks about 'Purchase order as an e-mail'. Guess this would work for a STO as well.

For the second part, we purposefully want a continuous email to be sent so  that the person at plant B is reminded till the time he dispatches all the goods.

Please let us know if that is possible.
