Unable to search for BAPI - "Search is complete. There are no operations returned."

Hi,

I am trying to develop Shopping Cart App with Sybase Unwired Platform 2.2.

The problem is whenever I try to search for the BAPIs in the SRM SAP backend, this pops up

"Search is complete. There are no operations returned."

Whether it is wildcard search or i valid BAPI, the same error pops up.

Attached are my screenshot of the error and the BAPI attributes which is already remote enabled.

Please help, its the same issue as this http://enterprisemobilityblog.com/qna/18/issue-in-accessing-the-bapi-rfc-to-mbo-in-sup

but even if the BAPI is remote enabled, it still does not show ?

What else should be done so that BAPI's are visible in SUP ?

Thanks.

Firdaus

Hi Firdaus,

Even In the BAPI Explorer,Component hierarchy will not display the BAPI List.

So you have to implement SAP Note 706195 to fix this problem in SAP SRM Backend.

Thanks alot Jitendra and Abishek for the insights.

Unfortunately, we (our BASIS) tried to implement SAP Note 706195, it cannot be implemented in SRM landscape.

Would you know if there is a patch similar to this that can be implemented into SRM ?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Sorry, it now works after our ABAP guy executed each of the commands in the SAP Note. Now it works as a charm.

Thanks all !

Hi Firdaus,

i have faced the similar problem once what you are facing now.

when i contacted backend team, then i came to know that the connection user (by which you hace successfully connected to backend system) was not privileged with required BAPIs. then they provided it with some role.

you may need to contact your backend administrator.

Jitendra
