hi all,
We are developing a product which has to be later used by a number of clients. In XI i have created webservices(wsdl files,it is a SOAP to RFC scenario) and given it to EP(frontend).
The problem is i am putting these webservices in the XI server from where EP is accessing them and calling it with the URL
http://<hostserver>:<port>/<wsdl name>
But this product will work on our landscape only.If multiple customers use it they will not have the same server and port settings.
I thought of registering these wsdl files in a universal place(say UDDI) where it can be accessible by anyone and EP can take that URL and do the development. But i am not sure whether everyone will be able to access the same UDDI?? is it server and WAS specific( i have very little knowledge about it). Also we would want the client to do minimal changes from his side when he implements the product.
Can anybody come up with any ideas please??
thanks,
Nisheeta
