Hierarchy master data load to bpc 10

Hi Friends,

                 I am trying to load profit center hierarchy from bw to bpc.

                 Does it required to load attribute data before loading hierarchy data. If that is the process please let me know the steps follow like transformation file maintenance to load hierarchy data to BPC10.

My text data load got success but when I am loading hierarchy data I am getting error

Hierarchy node includes text node or external characteristics and Time version of dimension does not exits. Can any one explain what is it?

Hi Satish,

Yes, its mandatory to load attributes before filling hierarchies. please go thru my docs. would be help full.

Here my gl account have compound attributes(OCHRT_ACCTS) so in mapping used as

ID = 0CHRT_ACCTS+ID. if ur profit ctr don't have compound attribute in bw side, then in your mapping you can as ID=ID

ACCTYPE is is property of gl account dimension bpc. loading from bw. if bw zacctype is 0, i need to fill with EXP. thats why i used that line.

thank you raman for your reply.......in my scenario profit center is compounded to Controlling area and we have to maintain only profit center id only.In BPC dimension i want to maintain ID,Evdescription and Parenth1.So how do i maintain tranformation file for both text and hiearachy?
