BO4 IDT - Deleting table best practice shows message wouldn't expect

Hi,

We have a unx universe and have a summary table in the data foundation layer and some objects make us of this table

as use aggregate_aware.

We no longer need this usmmray table so was going to just delete from the data foundation layer  (highlighting table and right-click and select delete

but says table used in joins in all the contexts .

Have checked the contetss and the summary tabel is only used in the summary tabel context.

Why does thi smessage show?

How can we delete table safely?

Do we then have to manullay go in to each of the objeects which referenecd the summary table and remove anything such as <Unknown reference>

Is there a better way to delete a redundnat table form the data foundation layer and reflect this in business layer?

Right click on table and check for associated objects. If not the table could have been used in associated table list instead of object definition.
