regarding usage of QE71

Dear all,

Please let me know in which cases we use QE71 for result recording and in which cases we use QE51N

is the data going in to same SAP tables

Hi,

QE71 is best suited if you want to enter results in a tabulat form.Also it is very easy to enter date to multiple inspection points and the results of the previous inspection point can be seen while recording the results.

If you do not have multiple inspection points then QE51n is  best suited for results recording.

All the transactions saved in SAP will get updated in SAP tables.

User Interface (Screen design) will be different for these 2 transactions.

In QE71, you will get the details in tabular format. Even Inspection Points details (for in Process inspection) will be displayed in tabular column.

In QE51N, Inspection point details will be entered in separate screen & then MIC results will be recorded in subsequent screen.
