What if HANA was used to process Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Data?

If HANA can appear when I was working in CERN as Ph.D candidate, That will be great.

What a pity!

However, from my point of view, it is OK for processing a lot of signal in the tremendous amount of ntuple data.

Great idea!!!

I had the same and made a suggestion in 2013 as Peter Higgs earned the "Nobelpreis" for physics to our marketing department. This is an excellent use case for analyzing of big data and Cern has a very positive image. From my point of view it would be a great thing to support CERN with a free of charge Hana implementation.

infact SAP is working with Helix nebula. who is researching on use of cloud technologies for LHC Data processing. Using HANA for processing data generated from LHC can help scientists in taking faster decision which can save cost of infrastructure perhaps.
