We are setting up archive & delete process for our PI server.
We are following the guide attached. Currently the status of the messages in the table is :
Messages with delete flag: 37622
Messages with initial value: 2606935
|The guide suggests to run the report RSXMB_DEL_TO_ARCH in start to set all the flags to archive, however when we do this only few messages were archived and rest remained in the database table with archive flag.when we run the report RSXMB_SHOW_REORG_STATUS the status is
Msgs not in retention period (can be archived): 314.013 , however they dont get archived nor deleted. Kindly advice how to archive * then delete them??
Further Kindly advice if we should run this RSXMB_DEL_TO_ARCH report (for our PI production server)?? how the synchronous messages without error will be deleted after we run this report as it will set the flag to archive and i suppose synchronous messages dont get archived.
