Improve punchout catalog performance

Hi,

We are looking for tips to improve on punchout catalog performance.  The issue is that when we click on an external catalog and begin searching for items within the catalog, it seems to take a relatively long time.  If I order upto 10 items within the catalog, when I click checkout, it can take upto 2 minutes for the items to be added to the shopping basket.  Is there a way we can fine-tune our set up, apply SAP notes so that we improve our punchout catalog performance.  We do not use MDM catalogs, although I have seen a few notes that apply to improving MDM performance.

Hi Joseph, My name is Brady Behrman and I am from PunchOut2Go. The performance you speak of sounds to be on your suppliers side. If you successfully punchout to the suppliers ecommerce site, the performance of the punchout site would not be an SAP issue. I would talk with your supplier about your issues. We would be happy to see if we can help tune up or upgrade their PunchOut Catalog.
