MaxDb 7.8 Presentation

Hi

I have downloaded, from SSMP, and installed NW 7.0 Presentation - MaxDB Release 7.8.02.26 on a client.

All i have in the Max Db folder is the Installation Manager and Command Prompt.

Where is the Presentation tool?

Hi Abu,

You need to use database studio as the presentation tool to manage the MaxDB database.

You can download the installation package for the Database Studio from the Support Portal:

Is the latest version of Database Studio downwards compatible, Db Studio 7.9 can open MaxDb 7.7

I presume, DB Studio should be installed on the client.

Hi Abu,

Database Studio is downward compatbile. It can work with MAx DB version 7.6 as well.

You can install it on your machine then use to connect to MaxDB server.

I see there is alot of documentation coming with MaxDb Studio.

I just need to quick steps to connect to Max Db instance.
