MB1B-Movement type 309 without creating accounting document?

Hi,

When we do MB1B- movement type 309 (different storage locations with in the same plant ) and this is creating accounting document( CO) is creating with particular cost center always with 0 values.

1. For 309 movement type creating Accounting document (CO document) is this a standard SAP process ? or from any configurations . Please let me know details on this?

Is there any possibility to copy movement type 309 without creating accounting document just material document?

2. If so can you please let me know is there any way we can stop creating this Accounting Document (CO)  for movement type 309?

3. When creating Accounting document (CO) it is always using same Cost Element and Cost center. These values are derived from any configuration settings?  Where can we change these values?

Dear Mohan,

when you move parts within an enterprise, and within a plant from one storage location to another why should the system create a accounting document? When you move a part within the same company code, and within a plant as  the smallest entity SAP could define a valuation area there is no ncessity to create an accounting document.

So don't expect one and everything is okay.
