custom profile- ZMCRhead status change problem

Hi all,

I have created a custom status profile for request for change.

The custom status was exactly the replica of the standard status profile.

When i tried changing the status from validation to to be approved by selecting release for approval, i getting an error that User
status could not be set because of the status profile customizing.

I am stuck up at this point. Also am not getting the use of maximum and minimum ranges in request for change, as everything is based on actions.

the odd thing is the standard request for change works fine, whereas the custom CR which uses the custom profile has the problem.

I dunno where exactly is the problem.

Hi,

can you provide the detail log of the error.

-> If it is stuck in UI, first place to troubleshoot is your auth. Do you have any restriction for B_USERSTAT auth object, check the use cases here http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/B_USERSTAT

Try with SAP_All access, whether you can execute the activity or not?

-> other case, go to status profile, check your status range ( low and high) is it equal to the standard.

-> Number range is nothing but the unique identity provider of your CR.

I have the required access for performing the activity.

The problem is with the Approval procedure that i have defined.

I have defined a two level approval procedure.

After correcting the approval procedure. the problem is resolved.
