SAP NetWeaver - Service cannot be reached: Errorcode 403

Former Member

Hello,

I installed "SAP NetWeaver 7.02 SP11 64 bit Application Server ABAP Trial Version" as described in the install guide including the loopback Adapter and Java SDK 5.22. Everything is running on a VM with Windows Server 2008.

After successful Installation I tried to open "http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=000" in the InternetExplorer under Useraccount "Administrator" (I tried the SAP-Useraccounts created during Installation as well) but I got the following Error:

-----------

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note

The termination occurred in system NSP with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If it is a valid URL, check whether service /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui is active in transaction SICF.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

You need to enable and publish the services in SICF

Follow this documentation

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-29485

Juan,

thanks for the answer. Unfortunately I can't even install the SAP GUI to start a Transaction. For this reason I can't follow the documentation as it says in the first Point "Use Transaction SMICM".

When I try to install the SAP GUI "...\SAP_NetWeaver_702e_Installation_Master\IM_WINDOWS_X86_64\sapinstgui.exe" I got the errormessage:

---------

Error while connecting to communication partner - see preceeding messages. Could not connect to host localhost on port 21212. java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

Ok, that is not the SAPGui installation path, thats the installation master for the Trail Version, you need to look for the SAP Presentation DVD.

Is there any download as well? Because I only downloaded the package "http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/library/uuid/1048e401-ab3d-2e10-4d84-b9f27339c54b"

I can only see a SAPGui for Java option in the list.
