Hi All,

While creating TREX RFC connection we got below error, could you please help me out how to resolve this issue..

Version: TREX 7.0

Error Log:

Error in the RFC communication: Bean TREX_RFC_GET_VERSION_INFOnot found on host MF (TREX_CDM_DEV)

Message no. STREX005

Diagnosis

A service of the TREX search engine was called. An RFC connection to the gateway is required for this, but the connection could not be established. As a result, the TREX services cannot currently be used.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administration

Check the RFC connection "TREX_CDM_DEV" using transaction SM59 (TCP/IP communication).

Error occurred during RFC connection: "Bean TREX_RFC_GET_VERSION_INFOnot found on host MF"

Hi Vinoth

What basis version are you using? If you are using basis version 7.30 or 7.31 then there is issues with creating the RFC connection with Trex7.0.

If you look at the following notes you will get more information. You can either upggrade to Trex 7.1 or apply the fixes in these notes

Hello Vinoth,

Please maintain hosts file entry with IP adress of your abap system. Restart Trex services .

Check the connection again in trex administration.

could you please check the RFC destination TREX_CDM_DEV in sm59 and check test connection,please attach the screenshot of this.
