PPM: Access for particular fileds in EDIT item screen for users

Hi All,

We have two users  Admin and Project manager.

While Editing items Administartor are able to change these fileds(Name, External id,type,start date and end date,Location, BP).

For project manager dont want access BP field.

So can you please help where we need to config for disabled access.

Hi,

You can use Portfolio Dependent Field Override option if you do not want to modify standard config. Look in the Define Portfolio in SPRO for field override option. You could use "Activity" option ( in your scenario Project Manager/Admin) to move field to read only or modifiable...
