Hi Gurus,
I accidentally re-imported the old Transport request into PRD. Can we roll back the import. what about the roll back of configuration change in system. Please help with this.
Thanks in Advance
anil
Adding to Juan's comments,
if you want to roll back the configuration changes, then you will need to create a new transport and add in the correct objects or re-apply existing transports which contain just the changed objects and were created after the date of the 'old transport' you have just imported.
Sorry for the bad news, but we've all done the same thing at some time or other...
Regards,
Graham

Hi Anil,
This really is not easy stuff. If you are not really good at this, then you can really mess up your system. Can I recommend that you get some Basis expertise in to assist and decide the best way to proceed? I don't want to start quoting details as how you handle this as it depends on the number and type of objects in the transport plus how old the transport it and how many other transports have been imported since.

Graham
Hi Juan & Graham's
Thanks for your quick response, after following your valuable suggestions i got the solution after consulting the abap team and i transported the request which contains all the missing objects and current version.
Thanks again

You cannot roll back a transport.
Depending on the contents of the transport you can use version management to create a new transport with the correct version of the code transported to PRD
