How to CIF Global Master Data to be used by Demand Planning

Does anyone know how to CIF over the basic data view of a material in ECC to APO.

We don't want the location specific materials created in APO.

We only need the Global UOM data to be used by APO DP.

Yes we can use a single plant but why even do this?  There should be a way to CIF over a material that can be used ONLY by DP?

This is Yimin at MC. How are you doing?

Check OSS notes 518274 and 506832 ( there might be new updated notes, check service portal). We implemented the same about 5 or 6 years ago. After you imlement, you'll see a new material selection on CFM1 to allow you to transfer materials with only Basic Data view.
