Javascript error "Invalid arguments"

Hi there

Each time I run the ABAP application in browser Internet Explorer 6.XX I do not see any thing in display and I can see that there is a Javascript error which is shown in the left had bottom on the browser. I have attached a screen shot below.

I have tried a lot of things that are mentioned on SCN and most of them looks like have not been resolved or user say that some how or other it has stared to work. I am using SAP NW2004s. I have made sure that the entries in icm\full_host_name and in the local host file is maintained properly with FQDN.

I have also made sure that I activated all the components before I "Test" application in browser. Tried in IE7 and still does not work. This is the first time I am running Webdyn pro application.

Can anyone here guide me as to how can I resolve this error. I have pretty much spent about 8 hours on it trying different solutions just to run a  test application I created.

Eagerly waiting for the right solutions. Right solution will be awarded properly.

Thanks.

Regards

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

It might be with browser settings or with FQDN. Try to use IE8 and check FQDN also.

Please go through this..

Hi Krishna

https://scn.sap.com/thread/1975894

In the above link I found that the user could debug to find out what the error was. Do you know how can I debug a javascript in IE6 to find what the line 7 is ?

As you have mentioned in post that I should check for FQDN. What do you think is a FQDN if Webdyn Pro is being run on the local system only and not on network?

Since my computer name is 'sapserver' so I have used 'sapserver.local' (as you might be able to see in the image attached). And the same is configured in icm/full_host_name and also in the Windows host file too.

Thanks.
