Hi,
We using SRM 7.02 with Classic scenario. We have noticed that we cannot modify the quantity or cost center field in a shopping cart even though the backend related ECC PO has been deleted. The shopping cart status shows that PO is deleted, so I would have thought we can edit it further and re-order it again so that a new PO is created. What is the normal SRM standard behavior around editing shopping carts? And if editing is possible, does anyone have the SAP OSS notes that need to be applied to enable this? Please note that we are able to delete the shopping cart item and save it which works OK.
Thank you.
Hi Joseph,
In any scenario, shopping cart edit is possible before the approval ie when it is awaiting for approval / saved as draft status.
Once it is approved, whether the follw on document exist or not, you cannot edit the SC line item. It is the standard SRM beharvioru for any scenario.
Regards,
Govardhan

Shopping cart edit (changing the Cost center etc) is not possible once the Shopping cart is approved and follow-on PO is created.
You can only delete the Shopping cart item.
