Help on Value Mapping Replication

Hello everyone,

         I have a query regarding value mapping Replication.My scenario is File- IDOC.Here we are passing the valuemapping details dynamically and the values are not getting updated in the cache monitoring in th e RWB.

Detail Description :Already we have implemented the scenario with an insert operation(which will insert the values present in the excel sheet),and working fine for the existed values.But when we are trying to insert the new values in  that excel sheet it is not getting updated.So we have created those details in the ID manually(using group by name)still the values are not getting updated in cache monitoring in RWB.

Could any one please help us in sorting out the issue.

Hi,

If the Value mapping groups created in ID are also not populating in Cache monitoring, then it seems to be a cache problem. Could you please get the cache refreshed with BASIS's help.

hi,

just my few cents - best practice says - don't use value mappings in PI

- hard to debug

- hard to maintain (only by non business users in most cases)

- very limited functionality

mapping lookups are always better
