MSS Addon - Manager´s structure not showed on hierarchy detailed team view

Hi,

We are implementing ESS/MSS on EHP6. MSS-ADDon is installed and configured.

On MSS Homepage, when clicking on "Open Detailed Team View" the "Grid" View shows correctly the manager´s structure, but "Hierarchy" view doens´t show the sctructure as hierarchy.

The strange is, if I access "Team-> Start Process for Employees" to start a process the Hiearchy is displayed correctly.

I checked the note 1670089, but it can´t be applied on our environment.

whats your version then  ie EA-HR_MSS ? it was fixed in SP03 ie above note and 1668909 1778703 and 1768195

then we need to check configuration

Please run report RP_CHECK_LAUNCHPAD_ENTRIES for the Hierarchy you are
using and send us the results.

If this report is not in your system please refer to note 1700845.

Please navigate to the following repository path in SE80:

Mime Repository->SAP->Public->BusinessSuite->Nakisa_Orgchart

The solution is to simply delete the "OrgChartFlexComp_102.swf". The
application is designed to take the file with the highest suffix (i.e.
_102.swf in this case).

The file with extension _102.swf is delivered by accident and hence it
has to be deleted.

Hi Siddharth,

The EA-HR_MSS component is on SP05 (ECC on EHP6).

I ran the report and the result is attached.

We will not use Nakisa. I don´t know if this hierarchy view requires Nakisa, but as I said, the hierarchy on "Team-> Start Process for Employees" is showed correctly.

I have checked the thread (http://scn.sap.com/message/13943929) which you are on. I think it´s the same situation.

have you checked your mime repository?
Does the application work from Se80?
1) Open tcode: SE80
2) Open the WebDynpro component: "HIER_VIS_UI_WRAPPER"
3) In the MIME's folder you should find the list of the .swf files

YES. I have tested the application and there are 4 swf's files there. The application "hier_vis_demo"  works fine, but the "hier_vis_ui_wrapper" don´t. An error arises:

ERROR: Fehler im FLASH_ISLAND "ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER" des Views "HIER_VIS_UI_WRAPPER.FLASH_VIEW": Der Wert "" ist für das Property swfFile nicht erlaubt. (termination: RABAX_STATE)

"hier_vis_demo"  works fine >> then "HIER_VIS_UI_WRAPPER should be working correctly too.

Make sure you have activated the corresponding service for the

WebDynpro application HIER_VIS_UI_WRAPPER in the SICF.

The Orgchart configuration for the homepage "MSSBIZVIEW" ?

The configuration can be accessed via the cluster "VC_HIER_VIS". We have

also provided another cluster "VC_HIER_VIS_C" that would store the custom

Hi Siddharth,

I have checked the organizational chart visualization component and I think it isn´t installed/configured. I haven´t found it on component list.

The strange is, why for "Start Process for Employee" the chart is showed and Hierarchy isn´t for "Detailed Team View".

I created a ZMSSBIZVIEW just to check the option "Activate Hiearchy Visualization", but without success.

I let you know about the result.

indeed I find it strange as hierarchy view is similar to start process for employee ie MSSEESELECT as it says here.

• Installed the related ABAP Add-on EmbOrgCh 605, as detailed in SAP Note
  1485853 (Installation EMBORGCH 605 on ERP 6.0 EHP5). This step is required for
  all applications menitioned above except for the Team View where it is
  only required if you want to use the Hierachy View. >>> from SPRO documentation

So something is working correctly in your system this indicates all are activated in SICF.

can you compare it with your 000 client ie golden client and check if it is working there and correct transport was done?

I think I can´t test it on client 000, once I don´t have any data there.

We are on EHP6, should this component be included on this release or is really necessary to install it separetaly?

Please, take a look on screenshots. For me, this add on is not installed, but the pictures show that theoretically it is.

its definitely there, and you are indeed using Nakisa , also

IV. EMBORGCH upgrades

As of Enhancement Package 6, EMBORGCH is delivered as part of the
component EA-HR.>> so you are fine,>>> Note 1485855, so it wont be there in your system in EHP6., its correct then

You need to check the config of MSSBIZVIEW and HIERVISDEMO using above report.

PLease implement note 1768559

can you let me know if the steps of this note 1768195 is followed., it has manual steps.

Also, can you share if you tested this.????
