PPS can only be activated in the extended classic scenario

Hi,

We are planning to implementing SRM 7.02 with PPS in classic scenario, while activating business function SRM_CROSS_INDUSTRY_1 and SRM_PUBLIC_SECTOR_1 system throws error "PPS can only be activated in the extended classic scenario". Any custom development or enhancement for classic senario with pps.

Pls help me.

Until SAP SRM 7.0, this feature was available as a separate PPS add-on which could only be deployed in extended classic scenario. However, SAP SRM 7.0 EHP1 onwards, this feature is retrofitted to the core solution and is available for implementation in classic scenario as well.

Ricardo is correct as what the error message says. Could you please list down the functionalities that you are planning to use from PPS? We may propose workarounds if possible to use the SRM without PPS.  For example:

1. Interface to payment gateway
2. SC budget-commitment like that...

I suppose it is not possible to enhance the PPS in order to integrate it in classic scenario.

Extended classic scenario is a must for PPS.
