Hi,
In our CLM system,I would like to make inactive for already existing Master agreement template. It was created by other person.Even I cannot
go into this template in 'EDIT' mode'.If I create any MA template,I can go in 'EDIT' mode and I can make 'inactive' of my template where as if
MA template was created by person,I can not make as 'inactive'This is my problem,so can you please throw some light for this issue?
With Regards,
Jaheer Hussain,
Hi Jaheer,
The reason that you are not able to edit is most likely because you are not a collaborator on the template. You can do a couple of things: (1) Ask the owner to add you as a collaborator to the template so that you can edit it or (2) If you have the appropriate permissions, log-in as the owner and add yourself to the template so that you can edit it or inactivate it while you're logged in as the owner.
You can also ask the owner of the template to inactivate it if that is easier.
I hope this helps,
Rosemary

Hi Jaheer
I can suggest one more thing -
1) if you know the Template owner name , impersonate the owner (for this you don't need owner credentials to login as owner ) and change yourself as owner / add yourself as read/write collaborator for that template. For this approach , you need to enable impersonation in system.
2) In case you are not aware of the owner for MA Template , run a SQL query in database and retrieve the owner name for the template . After that take approach 1
Thanks
Sudipta
