Error while creating Configuration for SLT replication

HI All,

I am trying to do a simple application in Hanna using SLT for data replication.

But while trying to create the configuration using LTR t-code, I am getting error as "Error occured when opening DB connection". Despite of the error, an entry is going into the DBCON table and the configuration is not getting created.

I tried to test the connection using report "ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION" but the result is connection cannot be opened.

I just want to know what can be the cause and its solution.

My current notion is that we need not have to start the Hana server, I am not sure whether its correct or wrong ?.

If we need to start the linux server(Hana server) kindly let me know the steps for it.

Hi Gopal,

For creating the connection ,there should be a connection entry in DBCON table and test connection

report "ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION" should run successfully.

and hana system should be up and running .please let us know if you face any other issue.
