if stopping them (from communication channel monitoring) for whatever reason does not work

you can put a "dummy url' so they will be stopped and all messages will go into an error

which can be reprocessed later on,

Could you explain where is provide dummy url from communication channel monitoring...?

i know how to stop the processing by changes in ID level...

Hi Sridhar - If the same channel is being used by multiple interfaces and you want to stop the data flow only for few interfaces then the only way i see is create a dummy channel and change the receiver agreement to point it to the new channel.- point the new channel to dummy URL/ If it a proxy channel then give some dummy HTTP destination.

However you can select the valid channel in RA whenever you decide to send the messages and reprocess them.
