Hello SAPGurus,
I am doing Basic configuration of SAP Solution Manager using tcode SOLMAN_SETUP. I am facing error in the step Installation Check, it marks the following in red(error)
Check Profile Parameters
Profile parameter SAPLOCALHOSTFULL incorrect
Profile parameter icm/host_name_full incorrect
Profile parameter login/create_sso2_ticket incorrect
Diagnostics Prerequisites
Component ST-ICO: SP level 0013 is incorrect, expected 35
Component ST-SER: SP level 0001 is incorrect, expected 15
Following are the values for the parameters
SAPLOCALHOSTFULL = qerossm.com
icm/host_name_full = qerossm.com
login/create_sso2_ticket = 0 (Note:- I found that the value for login/create_sso2_ticket should be 1 or 2 but if I put these values then I'll not be able to open the portal for Solution Manager Configuration after executing tcode SOLMAN_SETUP)
Please suggest what can be done.

Abhishek Paritosh
Hi,
what is the host name. Normally it should be with the region
can you check again do you assinged the proper host name.
If yes, adjust the host entry in the hosts file, if your are unix and linux it would be under /etc/hosts.
if you are in windows, please goto run -> type drivers -> edit /etc/hosts
Please update
ThanKS
Jansi

Hello Abhishek,
1.- Check Profile Parameters
-> change the incorrect values for correct ones 😉
2.- Diagnostics Prerequisites
-> run report RTCCTOOL, and check result of system preparation verification tool, that addons message indicates that you have to install last SP of each support tools addons ST-PI and ST-A/PI
3.- Following are the values for the parameters
-> check note: 1582842 Profile parameters for Solution Manager 7.1

Hello Lluis,
Thanks for your participation.
1. -> change the incorrect values for correct ones 😉
If I change the value for login/create_sso2_ticket to 1 or 2 from 0 then the portal for Solution Manager
configuration will not work.
3. -> check note: 1582842 Profile parameters for Solution Manager 7.1
My system is Solution Manager 7.01
Please suggest.

Hello Jansi,
I recently installed EHP1 on the existing SOLMAN7.0 and I have to use Maintenance Optimizer to calculate the required SPS for applying EHP5 on ECC6.0, it is to note that MOPZ have never been used in the current SOLMAN system. Even I am working on MOPZ for the first time.
I tried to create a Solution with name "EHP5 on SDX ECC6.0" and started the Create Maintenance Transaction which opened Maintenance Optimizer Transaction. On the first page of the Maintenance Optimizer Transaction it throws error
Invalid user S0005833873 when calling SAP backend system
and also when I move ahead after selecting the ECC system it throws the following error
Error while processing your request!What has happened?The call of URL http://qerossm.com:50000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wda_mopz_plan has been terminated due to an error. |

Please suggest. I thought the Initial and Basic config for the SOLMAN should be completed.
Note:- It is to note that the User id maintained for RFC SAP-OSS is OSS_RFC

Hello SAPGurus,
I was able to solve above issue of termination type RABAX_STATE after I found the following error in ST22
UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION CX_SOCM_NOT_IMPLEMENTED. I followed the Note 1242931 - Dump UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION - CX_SOCM_NOT_IMPLEMENTED which says
Please perform the following SPRO activity:
-> SAP Solution Manager
-> Scenario-Specific Settings
-> Change Management
-> Extended Configuration
-> Change Transaction
-> Change Transaction Types
-> Assign Implementation to Change Transaction Types
In the following screen, please enter CL_CHM1_MAINT_OPT_INSTANCE as the 'Class/Interface' of transaction type SLMO
Note:- If you find any existing entry with type SLMO then delete that and add the above.

Abhishek Paritosh
