SRM 7.01 - User Setting no option to set purchasing substitute

Hi

We have upgraded from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.01. Process controlled workflow is active and Team purchasing configuration is done for shopping cart transaction type. However we do not see option to set purchasing substitute at the user account tab in User settings.

As per documentation available in SPRO, team purchasing is only allowed for shopping cart transaction type SHC:

You can make the following additional settings for the transaction object type Shopping Cart, transaction type SHC.

If the configuration made to allow team purchasing for the transaction type SHC, you can automatically see the my purhcase subsititute otpoion under user account tab in user settings screen.

Ideally there is no further activations / dependencies on it.

If you are sure about the config and user roles, please raise a call with SAP and they can help you in fixing your isues.

Thank you for the feedback. We have identified the problem and open message for SAP. The problem is customer is using custom transaction type for shopping cart. In the config we can only define team purchasing for transaction type SHC. This option is not present for any custom transaction type. Within SAP code when they are determining the team purchasing for User setting based on default custom transaction type for shopping cart. Since there is no team purchasing setting in custom transaction type and we do not see the team purchasing in UI.

Does the user have admin roles?

Oly admin user can add additional substitutes for all of the users.

This can be done either through the inbox for the user or through personal settings.
