Work Center Group creation for capacity planning

Hi Experts,

I have five lathe which have similar functinality. In SAP we are created only one work center instead of five. But in capacity planning it shows capacity of one work center. I want  take other four work centers capacity into consideration.

This procedure is  right ya otherwise i have to create other four work center.

Plz guide.

Dear,

You can use work center hierarchy concept. In this you can use ex. Lathe as main machine under which no of different lathe machine can be maintained.

T code for this is CR21.

Hi,

While creating the work center in capacity tab select number of individual capacities as 5 then system will show the available capacity for 5 machines.

But if you want to analyse the capacity each machine wise it is not possible.Capacity is always shown consolidated for 5 machines.If individual capacity is to be analysed then you have to create 5 work centers instead of 1.
