PDF version of SMART forms in SAP

Hi All ,

Is there any way through which we can upgrade PDF version in SAP from 1.3x to 1.5x. We are using SAP CRM 7..0 and trying to print PDF based smartforms to DOTMATRIX printer. But printer is supporting PDF version 1.5x files so unable to print the same with existing PDF version in SAP.

Any inputs on this will be highly appreciable.

Hello Naresh,

Check the ADS version installed in your system. You can always upgrade the ADS version.

Note 834573 indicates that ACF will support Adobe Reader 9.4 and later.

Note 1538540/1552962 discussed a potential problem with Adobe 10.X with WebDynpro application and ACF.

Hi Ranjith ,

Thanks for the reply. We are using ADS 8.0.

We are not using SAP Interactive Forms. In this case we are using normal smartforms and through OTF converting them into PDF file.

But when we are going to print the same PDF file , it is not getting printed because of the PDF version.

We have upgraded the adobe version at OS level but still can't change the PDF version at the time print preview.

So if you could help me where I am missing.
