Can Forecast from APO DP / SNP be moved to ECC

I would like to know if Forecast from DP / SNP in APO can be moved to ECC can be viewed in T - Code MD04.

Hi Raj,

Yes it is possible through CIF.

The steps needed in forecast release to ECC are :

1. set up your products in SAP APO

2. set up your locations in SAP APO

3. created a data view for this task in SAP APO.with

           ¡  future planning horizon only

           ii planning buckets profile with one periodicity only

           iii Only the key figure(s) that you want to transfer to SAP R/3

4. set the planning strategy of each material in SAP R/3.

5. set up the publication rules for transfer of PIR? if not then try to take a look into that by using SPRO

Hi Raj,

Please check below points for fulfilling your requirement.

1) Product and Locations should be maintained in APO & R/3.

2) Location Split should be maintained(I guess this is optional..please check)

3) Active Integration Model should be maintained for PIR(For Product location combination)

4) Time bucket Profile should have only one periodicity.

5) Transfer Profile should be created.

6) Maintain Publication (Maintain Distribution Definition).

7) Create background job to release to R/3.

😎 CIF Connection between APO and R/3 should be On/Active.
