102 config movement type for excise

Hi all

On executing the J1I5 for MBST-102 material document with Classification
as IPD, the material document not showing in output. After doing the
configuration of 102 thru SPRO - Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise
Invoices, the required output showing 102 material document.

Without 102 movement configuration, previously we have been
cancelling the material document thru MIGO, the excise invoices referred and correctly
negative part 1 entry gets posted. It is happening so far correctly.

My question is Whether doing this config of 102 is the
correct solution or any other way we can bring 102 in J1I5. On doing the above
102 config, what are the consequences.

Please advice.

Hi Suddy,

With movement type configuration in Specify movement type path of SPRO system will not update

the entry in part1 table for that movement.

You will have to maintain the movement type in the path and this is mandatory for India Localisation.

This is the only way which you should follow to update the registers in SAP CIN. Any other way is incorrect.

Dony worry, just go ahead. For this movement type if your material is excisable, movement type is maintained in CIN, entry will flow to j1I5, else not.
