BO4 - IDT - renaming existing columns on database table in data foundation layer

Hi,

We have a table in the data foundation layer and have objects defined against these columns.

I know I can refresh structure and this will remove the old columns and reinsert the new columns but then would have invalid objects which used the old columns.

Is there a way to simply rename the existing column names in the data foundation layer such that objects pick up the names of the renamed columns in a similar wya to can rename a table by right-click edit in the data foundation layer

You cannot rename columns with right-click edit, but the column name can be changed by

• clicking on the table in the data Foundation structure and
• then on "-" at the very bottom -> you see table properties,
• columns tab -> click on the column name you want to change
•

Philip,

     Column changes MUST be fixed manually, there is currently options to have them fixed automatically at this point.
