EHP6 upgrade error at stage "EHP_INCLUSION"

Hello Team ,

I am performing Upgrade from EHP4 to EHP6.

Upgrade is currently running At configuration phas.
I have got errors in phase PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION.

The error message given in SUM tool is given below:
Last error code set: RFC logoff from system SCP ashost hdbp2 nr 00 gwhost hdbp2 gwservice sapgw00 failed with code 13 key RFC_INVALID_HANDLE:
Invalid RFC connection handle: 4766280752<br/> If you put new packages in the download directory, use option 'init' to upload them

The phase is failiting at stage SPDA_DISASSEMBLE_QUEUE.

I have checked permissions of all directories and they look fine.
tp tool check is done and it is working fine.

Please let me know what could be the issue & how can it be resolved.

Hello,

Latest 720_EXT files were already present in download directory.

I have added new 720 kernel files to download directory now and restarted the phase.

Waiting for the result.

Hi,

What files of 720 EXT Kernel did you add to the download directory? Download directory is what?

I am also encountering this issue. Please see attached screenshots and logs.

Hello Arindam,

Can you please check the instance profile for parameter

rdisp/wp_no_enq? What is the value?

Also, from the logs

2EETQ399 ERROR       Return codes ( function=STIAsRcvFromGw /

2EETQ399             CPIC-RC=CM_DEALLOCATED_ABEND / SAP-RC=GW_SHUTDOWN )

We can see the return code show GW_SHUTDOWN, so could you please

check if current the gateway is running? This issue should be due to

gateway not running and RFC call failed.

Have you tried repeating the phase ? Most of the time it goes ahead with repeating the phase.
