Overall Credit status (VBUK-CMGST) not update

Overall credit status is not updated in VBUK (field:CMGST) table.

Hi Experts,

Need your opinion on this issue:

Scenario: We are using a simple credit check. Sales Order is created and warning message is displayed telling the user that credit has been exceeded. Delivery block is applied to the SO header.

Error: The problem is that this blocked SO does not appear in VKM1. Checking VBUK table, the Overall Credit status is 'A'. It should have been 'B'.

Why is this not updating? Are there special transactions or tables that need to checked for this?

Aim: The user should see the blocked SO in VKM1 and manually release it from there. This error seems to happen program RVKRED06, RVKRED09  were manually executed for testing.

Can you please check the status as what has been maintained in VOV8 under Shipping tab for your specific order type??

Can you follow OSS 18613 - Checklist for Credit Management steps? You may need to correct some settings and then do check again.

Can you please confirm what you have maintained in field Check credit limit in Sales document settings in VOV8.

Also share that is this happening with every sale order and document type or with some specific order?
