Using Solution Manager as CEN for SAP PI AEX

Hello All,

We are trying to configure Solution Manager as CEN for SAP PI AEX for Alert Configuration. However, we have only single instance of Solution manager in our landscape. SAP mentioned limitation of not differentiating between alerts from different AEX in Solution manager. Does that mean that we can't use Solution Manager as CEN in this case ?

Does anyone else have faced similar situation ?
