SQL data connection throws an error when MII is restarted

MII 12.4.5
NW 7.3
SQL

Every time the SAP Cluster is restarted or the server is rebooted, the
SQL data connection from MII throws an error. I must edit the data
connection and retype the password in order for it to successfully
connect. Occasionally, the SQL user is locked out in the SQL database,
but this is not the reason MII throws an error. This only happens
about 10% of the time. Restarting MII and the data connection throws
an error occurs 100% of the time and is unacceptable to the customer.

Steps for Reconstruction

Resatart or reboot the MII server
Open MII and view the data connections
The SQL connection says error
To fix, I must edit the connection and retype the pwd.
Then it works

Hello Everyone,

I am also facing a similar kind of issue. It is not related to the restart of the MII server but over a period of time say 15-20 days, my IDBC connection starts giving me error which is fixed after re-entering the password. I real wonder how the password is changed automatically in the data servers or something else goes wrong.

Please suggest any solution for this or if this is an issue with the version.

I am using 12.2.4 build 92 on NW 7.31

Thanks & Regards,

Anuj

Upgrade MII to at least 12.2.5.  There is a glitch with your current version.
