Free Goods scheme for 3-4 different materials on 1 material

hi

I want to give free goods scheme of 3-4 different material on one material at one time in sales order.

Example : For Material "A" (50 qty) <----- materials B (2 qty) + Material C (1 qty)+ Material D (4 qty) + Material E (1 qty) are free

What needs to be done? pls assist

HI,

In this scenario better need to create Sales BOM  with the qty calculation.

Because it is not possible in free goods standard functionality.

Hi ,

your query is not possible in standard,but you can try with user exit"USER EXIT SAVE DOCUMENT PREPARE"

with the help of ABAPER create a Z table with these combination of materials

when ever maintain line item with main material 'A' in sales order call the Z table based on material group and change the item category to TANN.

check the fields-VBAP-MATKL and VBAP-PSTYV..

Hi,

We have enough stock of one material say A and then we realise that we have some dead stock say B which is almost similar to stock A. So now any customer ordering stock A he gets A. But we want to set a material determination in such way that if customer order A he gets B and although we have enough of A material and this carry on until we get rid of dead stock B.

Please advise if there is a way to process this

Hi,

Here  in your substitution reason you need to take care for substitution without ATP. Follow the steps.

In "Define Substitution Reasons" for your substitution reason check there is a column for "strategy" put there "B" i.e General material determination with selection, without ATP.

So it will allow to determine Material without ATP check.

ok if i have to give 2 diiferent materials (A,B) as free items on third material "C". is it possible ?

Dear now 2:1 Ratio

so this is also not possible  only 1:1 only works

so in your scenario make B.O.M for first 2 material main item and free item is sub item

Can you please elaborate this as we have same situation where we have one item in stock say a and now we have promotional item b with a complimentary item c so whenever a is order even we have enough a in stock we replace a item to b with free c and once b/c run out system send a out.

   This cannot be done on standard Configuration you need to go through Z programme.
