Hi,
If some mails are going and some of them are not sending means the outlook server is different and the firewall should open to the SAP system. Need to check with OS and outlook server team.
Thanks,
BM

Hi Brindavan,
None of the mails are received in my inbox, its failing in tcode SCOT.
But above configurations are correct. Please check once and should we use RML or INT for send method.
Basically my requirement to receive mails in my official inbox For errors in xml messages(sxmb_moni) and idoc to mail scenarios.
Kindly suggest.
Hi ,
Try to send the mail from OS level to your inbox outlook server. whether the client system is authenticated. You can able to whether the outlook server is trust to SAP system. This link also discussed the same. kindly check it might be helpful.

Hi ,
Please find the scot configuration step below.
The Details that are required before configuration.
1. SMTP Mail Server Domain Name
2. SMTP Port Number (usually 25).
It is required to configure SAPconnect settings for every client that is used for send processes (E-mails, Faxes, SMS).
Step No 1
Go To Tx Code SCOT
1. Enter the Value for Default Domain
Under Settings -> Default Domain, define the domain of the SAP system
client. This allows for the following to take place:
1.1* The SMTP plug-in logs on to the mail server using the domain as ID.
1.2* The message ID of the outbound e-mails is assembled with this domain.
1.3* If an SAP user who does not have an Internet mail address sends an e-mail, a sender address consisting of the SAP user name and this domain is generated.
Choose the Menu Optionè
Views -> Nodes -> in the subsequent screen, expand INT -> double click on SMTP
Step No 2 In the Subsequent Screen… enter the following informations.
How often the Mail should be sent. (mostly every 5 minutes)
Check the “checkbox” “Node in use
Enter the “SMTP Mail Server Host Name
Enter the SMTP Port Number (usually 25).
Click on the button “Set”
Step No 3 In the Subsequent Screen… enter the following informations.
Address Areas :- To which all address (domains) the mails can be sent.
“*” means emails can go to any E-Mail Addreses, while *hcl.in
means the mails can go to only to users in the "company domain name" in domain
Step No 4
Go to the menu optionè
View -> Jobs
In the subsequent Screen, Click on the Create Button
Step 5
In the subsequent screen, enter some job name.
Step 6 In the subsequent screen, Click once on the “SAP&CONNECTALL” and double click on the button “Schedule Job”.
Step 7 In the subsequent screen
Click on the Button “Schedule Periodically” and select how often the Background job should run (mostly every 5 minutes)
Click on create button
A new node will appear in the Jobs screen.
In T- Code SM37, check whether the New Job, is scheduled or not.
I hope you got all the information.
Thanks,
BM
Hi Brindavan,
I have did the same configurations what you have mentioned in your previous comment.
May be the problem with connections let me check with mail admin once on the below issue.
_____________________________
It throws and error 812 which denotes:
The message could not be delivered to recipient <email addr>. The node gave the following reason (in the language of the node):
554 5.7.1 <email addr>: Relay access deni
Processing was ended normally.
Additional information of the node used (in the system language of the node):
554 5.7.1 <email addr>: Relay access deni
Use the documentation of the node to check which actions are necessary.
Sure. Thanks alot brindavan. I will check with mail admin and share it.
Also I didn't understand the point "trigger the mail from os level to you inbox".
Basically my requirement 1) to create alerts for 'SXMS_ERROR_CAT' in SXI_MONITOR in order to receive mails for xml messages having errors.
2) Also for IDOC to mail scenario.
Hi Rajesh,
Login into OS level with user-id SIDADM and excute the below command for test. So that the connection is trust from SAP system to your outlook server.
echo "Mail body" | mail -s "Mail subject" to@example.com
Thanks,
BM

Hello Rableen,
The SMTP return code "554 5.7.1" usually means "relay access denied".
Maybe the SMTP server is requiring authentication.
Your email server administrators should also have the possibility to add the SAP servers as "trusted servers", meaning that the SAP servers would be able to send emails without having to authenticate.
I hope that this helps.

Isaías
