SMD Agents Upgrade - 711 to 730

Hi Friends,

   Recently we have upgraded the solution manager 7.0 EHP1 to Solution Manger 7.1 using SUM tool.

Now we have a requirement to  upgrade all the SMD Agents connected to Solution Manager which was migrated recently should also be upgraded from 711 to 730..

we have to upgrade SMD Agents in 18 systems.

Kindly suggest me the ideal way to do this .

Can anyone suggest me on the steps too please??

hi,

its nt required, check the installation strategy note  Note 1365123 - Installation of Diagnostics Agents and the attached PDF, Rule No #5

Rule #5:

No need to upgrade Diagnostics Agents (in contrast to SAP Host Agent)

Hi Joe,

No need to upgrade your SMD Agents.

SolMan will do this for you.

As soon as the LM-Service component is updated it will make sure your agents get updated too.

Only thing you should look into is updating your hostagents.
