Hi Gurus,
I need quick help.
I am creating master inspection characteristics for my company.
We measure a test by <5000 cfu/g
How do I set this up in my Master Inspection Characteristic?? I do not want to set a low and upper limit of 0-4999 I want to set a limit of (<) less than 5000. When I try this i get an error of "Value can't be interp. as floating-point number or longer than 22 charac."
Please help me.
Thanks
Bruce
Dear Bruce
Go to Create Master Inspection Characteristic (QS21)
- Click on "Quantitative Characteristic"
- Put in data for "Short text" and "Search field"
- Press ENTER and Click on "Control Indicators"
- Click on "Upper specification Limit" and "Sampling procedure"
- Click on "Quantitative Data" and Put in data for "Upper Limit"
Note: We cannot use < or > while putting data for "Upper Limit"

Maintain upper specification limit as 5000 & keep lower limit as blank.

Hi,
In Quantitative data in QS21, you just maintained the no. like 5000 not like <5000 in Upper specification field. You error get resolved.
If you do like as explained above, then at the time of Result recording, in specification column <5000 this will appear.
Hope this will helps you....
