DP Reading UOM conversion without SNP product master in scope

Hi There,

We are implementing DP without SNP. Business wanted to see UOM conversion in DP planning book as of now they can see only base unit of measure.

It is a way we can bring UOM conversion in DP planning book through BI?

It will be helpful if anyone can answer.

Hi Raj,

Try entering the conversion of another UOM in mat1 , APO Product Master

This may get you to go into user settings in the DP Book and see the alternate UOM.

Thanks for your response.How do DP reads UOM conversion if we make changes in transformation rules on history cube?

It will be helpful if any one can give some suggestions or openions

Hi Raj,

Once the transformation rule/routine for conversion of UOM is maintained in BW, the data is mapped to apo BW and then from there the data is pulled to planning area. If the values reflect correctly in BW side and the mapping is correct then while pulling the data from the cube to planning area  UOM wil be displayed in the planning area.
