SOLAR01 - Changing Logical Component Assignment

Hello,

   Is there a means to mass change the assignment of Logical Components down to the process step level?

Scenario: BASIS creates a new logical component, e.g., Z_SAP_ECC_200. Current assignment in Business Blueprint is Z_SAP_ECC. Going process step by process step to assign new logical component takes a long time.

Hi Christopher,

you can either use the "Replace Log. Comp..." function from the "Edit" menu in Solar01 that can be applied to the sub-tree of a selected structure element or use the "Replace Log. Components" button in Solar_Project_Admin on the "System Landscape --> Systems" tab that will replace a logical component for the complete project.

Hi,

You are trying in the wrong way, no need to go each and every business process and change. It is just the one time activity,

if you are in the project, use the "replace logical component " button in the system landscape tab, this automatically change the old logical component where used list with new one, means where you used the old one get it replaced by new one,

if you use solution, use the same "Replace logical Component" button in solution settings,
