How to Install and Configure VSA (virus scan adapter)

Dear All,

     We are planing to install "VIRUS SCAN INTERFACE"  in E-recruitment system, below the system details..

OS          - Windows 2008

Version - NW 7.3

DB          - Oracle

Antivirus - BowBridge30 ( SAP Certified Provider )

AS of now we have installed BowBridge antivirus, can you please explain how to install and configure VSA.

Is that VSA is a different  software?? or it is part of SAP NW??

Please check SAP Note 817623 : interface (VSI) into your own SAP applications.

This SAP Note deals with frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the virus scan interface (VSI) and provide information about integrating a virus scan interface (VSI) into your own SAP applications.
