The system overview of NWA is not working

Hi Xian,

Good day, The real time data for processing is obtained through sapcontrol & saphost( saposcol) agents.

So check if you have your services running.Let us know the update.

Can you please elaborate the situation a little bit more?

Like, which SAP Netweaver Version? Looks like 7.31 or 7.03

What is the issue? The dashboard is in place but without real data?

Am i correct?

Thanks for your response.

The version is NW 7.30.

You are right.There is no real data at all,it is keeping "Retrieving data".

Actually ,we have another system with same version,that shows values.

So I wish to know why does it not works on this server.

Xian,

There is no such thing as to activate. It comes all set by default after installation.

A quick check:

1) Is this a new Installed System?

2) Have you applied the License?

3) Are you considering to Apply Support Packs?

4) Have you tried to Restart the AS Java and check?

What Support Pack version are you on in the System where this works fine.

Also can you check the Java Application server's status in MMC, whether anything unusual, any processes or applications not running properly?

1 It was installed in last year,the statiscs was ok.But i don't know from when not working .

2 License check is ok

3 i don;t think it is related with sp

4 Restarted many times.I usally use command "startsap j2ee" to start service.

As I mentioned ,there is another system which no special configuration,but this function is ok.

Hello Xian,

There was a bug with the kernel fix described in SAP note 1697515. For the 720 kernel this issue begin

with PL 215

which resulted in missing monitor values (just some of them) provided by

saposcol in CCMS monitoring segment.This can explain missing values in NWA (which gets data from SAPCCMS webservice).

This bug was fixed by note 1752646 - this means in PL 314 for 720 kernel.

If you have kernel 215-313, this might be solution for you.

We are at NW 7.31 portal SP13 and kernel 7.21_EXT patch 413 (Jan 2015) and have the same issue with no solution.  Any other suggestions?
