BO 4.0 issue connecting with office 2010

i am using windows 7 64bit with office 64bit and BO client tools 4.0. when i try to create universe through ms access database(.mdb) file the connection is not establishing even in standalone(no CMS). It is showing server is not responding and DBD: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified  (SBO0001) this type of message.

But the same when i tried with office 2007 it is working fine. I'm  not getting any that how to solve this issue. If anybody knows how to resolve this issue kindly please let me know.

Hi Kishore,

BO 4.0 supports only 32-bit versions of Microsoft Office 2010.

Refer the the below link @ 14 page number

But in my case BO is working with 64bit version of Office 2010 also.

Hi kishore,

If you are having 64bit Office 2010, then you need to create "two" DSN with the *exact* same name.

64 bit, DSN -> Control --> Administrative Tool --> Data Source

32 bit DSN --> "Start" --> All Programs --> SAP Business Intelligence --> SAP Business Intelligence 4.0. --> 32 bit ODBC.

make sure to give the same name.
