SRM as Addon to ECC

Dear Esperts,

If we have SRM as addon to ECC, do we still need PI for the MM-SUS scenario.

does this mean EBP and SUS will have the same client and MM will be in another client.

Please advise.

BR,

Jay

Hi Jay,

PI is always mandatory for all SUS scenarios. SUS should be implemented in a different client then your EBP client. Please also see note 573383 for the SUS deployment variants.

Hi Jay

Connections to SAP SUS do always require a PI installation.

For One Client, you have two installation options:

- Install SRM Server 7.0 (or higher) and ERP 6.04 (or higher) in the same client of one system. In this case, you don't install SRM_PLUS at all.

-  Install SRM Server 7.0 and ERP 6.0 on two different systems (SIDs). Then you have to install SRM_PLUS on the SRM system.

Hope this helps

Kind regards,

Hello Jay,

You need PI to configure the MM-SUS scenario, there no additional interfaces prepared for different installation types like this.
